Following are some suggestions on how your church can get involved in the outreach of the people of Zimbabwe
to bring the lost to Christ through ACTIVE Ministry.
Share ACITVE Ministry Vision
Invite ACTIVE Ministry representative to come to your Church and share the work of ACTIVE and how God is touching and saving lives through ACTIVE Activities in Zimbabwe.
Prayer Chain
Sign up to be part of an e-mail prayer chain with other believers who are dedicated to praying for children and families who are affected by poverty, disease, and social chaos. While you are at it, Pray also for ACTIVE Ministry to stay on task, seek God's leadership and receive an extra allotment of faith.
Make ACTIVE A Part of Your Network
Promote activeministry.org on your social networks, Send twitters, share e-mails and video updates to promote ACTIVE with your congregation.
Holidays and Birthdays Sharing
Consider giving to others as a part of how you will celebrate the gift of life and salvation. During the holidays to give to ACTIVE in honor of your loved ones.
Gift Matching
You or your church organization can choose to give and invite other members to give by matching the donations they give to ACTIVE Ministry.
Donations in Kind
Donate books for the New College Library from your church Library or home Library. Contact us and ask about other kind donations that we accept, how donating benefits you or your Church, and learn how donated products impact the lives of those in need.
Volunteer
Take the opportunity to share your time and talents in a meaningful way by volunteering your skills to ACTIVE Ministry teams. Volunteers are needed in the areas of Prayer Warriors, social connections and networking, Fund Raising, and communications, and public relations.
Dinners
Make authentic recipes from a specific country or region as a fun way to introduce ACTIVE Ministry with friends and family. Hold a dinner dance for your congregation or Small Group/Cell Group and introduce and talk about the work of ACTIVE Ministry in Zimbabwe and how one can get involved.
Short Mission Trips
Plan a short and long Mission trip to Zimbabwe and work alongside the sick and the poor. Help upgrade homes, improve communities, repair rural schools, and build lasting relationships in the process.
